Vingroup Released Audited Consolidated Financial Statements For 2019

(ĐTTCO) - Ha Noi, March 30, 2020, Vingroup Joint Stock Company (“Vingroup” or “the Company”) (ticker “VIC”) released its audited consolidated Financial Statements of the full year 2019 (“FY2019”) prepared in accordance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS).

Vingroup’s total consolidated net revenue in FY2019 reached VND 130.0 trillion, a growth of 6.7% year-on-year.

Profit before tax was VND 15.6 trillion, an increase of 12.5% year-on-year, evidencing the continuing strong performance across business segments. Profit after tax was VND 7.7 trillion, an increase of 23.7% year-on-year.

As of December 31, 2019, Vingroup had total assets of VND 403.7 trillion, owner’s equity of VND 120.6 trillion, increases of 40.1% and 21.6% respectively, compared to the balances at the end of 2018.

In the first three months of 2020, companies in Vietnam in general and Vingroup in particular faced profound challenges as the economy was affected by Covid-19.

As the complex situation of Covid-19 continues, Vingroup has been at the forefront in terms of complying with Government policies and guidance to prevent the spread of the virus, and protect the health of our customers, whilst at the same time preparing appropriate business plans in light of the new business environment.

Vinhomes has increased interaction with buyers via online channels and launched official Youtube channel to enable customer to view our products online.

Besides implementing preemptive measures to enhance safety for our shopping destinations, Vincom Retail has announced a VND300 billion package to support tenants across our portfolio, affirming our commitment to help them overcome Covid-19.

Vinpearl has strictly implemented preventive measures across the network, and working on post-impact promotional packages in anticipation of a potential domestic recovery in the next few months.

In industrials segment, VinFast and VinSmart promoted sales through online channels. Leveraging on Vingroup ecosystem, VinFast rolled out combo sale packages where buyers of Vinhomes apartments and villas are given coupons to purchase VinFast cars.

At the beginning of 2020, with three new phone models, namely Active 3, Joy 3 and Star 3, VinSmart has marked itself among Top 3 best-selling brands in February with 11.2% smartphone market share.
